Using the Good for BES12 app or BES12 Client
The Good for BES12 app on iOS devices and the BES12 Client on Android and Windows Phone 8.x devices allow BES12 to communicate with the devices. Both apps use a FIPS-validated cryptographic module to encrypt all of the data that they store directly and write indirectly to files.
To activate iOS, Android, and Windows Phone devices using BES12, users must first install the Good for BES12 app or BES12 Client on the devices. Users can download the latest version of the Good for BES12 app from the App Store for iOS devices, or BES12 Client from Google Play for Android devices, or from the Windows Marketplace for Windows Phone devices.
