Turn on autofill
Autofill is available only on devices.
- Tap > >Autofill.
- Select theAutofill from the BlackBerry Keyboardcheckbox.
- TapOpen settings.
- TapPassword Keeper autofill.
- Turn on the switch.
- TapOK.
- If prompted, enter your screen lock, and then tapNext. This turns offSecure start-up. To keep your device secure, turn it back on:
- Tap >Security>Screen lock.
- Enter your pattern, PIN, or password.
- TapPattern,PIN, orPassword.
- SelectRequire Pattern/PIN/Password to start device.
- TapContinue>OK.
- Enter your pattern, PIN, or password, and then tapContinue.
- Enter your pattern, PIN, or password again, and then tapOK.
Turn on autofill for username and password fields
If your device is running 8.0
or later, you can use the autofill feature by tapping a username and password field
in an app or website.
This feature might not be available for
some web browsers.
- Tap > >Autofill.
- Select theAutofill from a username or password fieldcheckbox.
- SelectPassword Keeper autofill>OK.
- When you are using an app or website that has a saved username and password, tap on the field.
- If prompted, tap orTap to unlock. Enter yourBlackBerry Password Keeperpassword.
- Tap on one of the suggested saved usernames and passwords.
- TapAssociate.Once associated, the username and password will be suggested the next time you tap on the field in an app or website.
