Stop an app from accessing your personal info

Apps must request permission to access personal info (like your calendar or contacts) and device features (like your camera or device sensors). If you don't want an app to access a specific type of info, you can turn off that permission.
Turning off an app's permissions might make some of the app's features unavailable. In some cases, it might stop the app from working at all.
  1. On the main screen, tap
    Applications
    .
  2. Tap an app.
  3. Tap The permissions icon.
  4. Turn off the permission switches for the types of info you don't want the app to access.
